Adding a Gallery or Lookbook to your Shopify site
You can really showcase your products with a beautiful gallery page or lookbook on your Shopify site. Here are some different options for setting this up:
Free Option:
Simply create a content page in your Shopify store, and add the images to it. Some themes even have a multi-column page option so you can display your images more easily in a grid style layout. Most themes from Out of the Sandbox have this layout option.

Custom Development:
If you want to avoid the on-going costs associated with apps or you already have a lot of apps installed on your site, consider getting the gallery/lookbook functionality coded into your site. You could Use a jQuery plugin such as Galleria to create your gallery or lookbook. You may need some help from a designer or developer to install this, however, you won't need to pay the on-going monthly app costs use a plugin. You could also have a developer create a custom page layout for your theme that you can use to display your gallery or lookbook photos. This would be a the best option if you have a specific design in mind for your lookbook or gallery page. |
